Film “Accepted”, Recommended watching movies for students
Everything
that happens around us may change at any time, such as our desire to enter a
university which does not go according to plan. So, I would like to recommend a
film entitled “Accepted”. Accepted is a 2006 American comedy film directed by
Steve Pink and written by Adam Cooper, Bill Collage, and Mark Perez. Several
top actors and actresses took part in this film, from Jonah Hill, Blake Lively,
Justin Long, and many others. Accepted tells the story of two teenagers who
have the same fate. Bartleby Gaines (Justin Long) and Shermen Schrader (Justin
Hill) are two lazy teens who are not accepted into every university of their
dreams. Because, not wanting to disappoint their parents, the two finally
decided to create a fictional campus called the South Harmon Institute of
Technology or S.H.I.T. Starting just to trick their parents, it seems that this
fictional campus actually attracts many teenagers who also fail to enter their
respective dream universities. Confused by confusion, the two of them finally
continued their plan. Bartleby and Shermen together created the university's
logo, website, and letterhead to make their campus look real. Even though
S.H.I.T is just a fictitious campus, the learning they apply in it actually
provides many positive values. Bartleby explains that the foundation of the
campus curriculum is to free all students to do what they love.
I really like the scene where hundreds of
people really want to enter the fictional campus. Bartleby and his friends were
forced to accept hundreds of children, none of which were accepted by the
universities they enrolled in, and resolved to say, “Yes, we accepted you!
You’re very welcome in here”. Problems
also arise when hundreds of children who come should do what They do not really
prepare the lessons, lecturers, curriculum and grades standards that are
commonly used as university standards anywhere. Bartleby finally let them do
what they like. They gave them a big blackboard with the title “What Do You
Want to Learn?”. I highly recommend this film to you, because I think this film
will help you to be more motivated to achieve your dreams. This film has shown
how to struggle to be able to attend a dream university like other children. Remember,
winners are not people who never fail, but people who never quit. Failure this
time doesn't mean we'll fail forever, as long as we keep trying and don't stop
trying. Please watch this film for those who haven't and happy watching!
